With the growth in the ai field and popularisation of alexa google assistant siri etc I thought not to lag behind and equip my home with the smart devices available in the market.But wait a minute why buy when you can always make one and here it all starts.
Getting out of the dark
This all was about being updated with the society and technology .I started of a nodemcu since it would give me some relax from wiring add handling esp connections with arduino.An 8 channel relay was already lying around and just a bunch of jumper wires for the pin connections.
Connecting to the Internet and devices
Pretty easy to print anything in "c" using the printf command from the stdio library.
Similarly it is pretty easy if we use the IFTT applets with the Blynk library.Hence this was quite an easy project and would recommend to everyone instead of buying the readymade products which seem to offer limited control and expensive infront of this project.
Final Result
Well finally after connecting everything you can go to Iftt service and set what do you want as input provider from a no. of services such as google assistant and siri etc.You can chose a personalised input command as well a personalised reply from the assistant.Set whatever action you want to happen on the desired pin no. and relax back and enjoy .
